As we look into the future, two key questions are inspiring important discussions: What does empowered aging look like and how can innovation help us get there?
A dynamic group of thought leaders, innovators, investors and healthcare professionals, as well as older adults and caregivers, gathering virtually for the CABHI Summit 2022 (hosted by the Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation) on March 23 and 24, will explore possible answers to those questions. They’ll talk about how to accelerate innovation in aging and brain health so we can all not only age, but thrive, in the ways that matter.
Over the course of two days, innovation and investment in longevity will be at the forefront and the ways in which agetech is helping older adults and caregivers make choices that are right for their own aging journeys.
CABHI’s fourth annual conference will feature two dynamic pitch competitions for agetech companies with a combined pool of over $2 million available to winners. There will also be digital networking opportunities for attendees and exhibitors and thought leaders from around the world.
The first day of the Summit kicks off with a focus on Agetech + the Human Connection with a free all-access day rich with programming especially for older adults and caregivers. Session topics will include dedicated sessions on social connectedness in the digital age; diversity, accessibility, and health equity in seniors’ care; how innovations are adopted into use, from idea to implementation; and digital literacy, financial wellness and lifelong learning. Attendees will also enjoy a series of entertainment demos.
On the second day, innovators and investors in the longevity sector are in the spotlight under the theme, The Longevity Economy: Investing in an Aging World. Summit participants will learn how innovations for older adults are transforming seniors care and experiences of aging, and how companies can successfully get their solutions to market, adopted and scaled.
CABHI’s annual combined pitch competition promises to be a highlight. Bigger and better than ever before, health-tech and fintech companies will vie for their share from a pool of more than $2 million in investment capital and acceleration services. Attendees may also participate by voting for the company whose pitch they love most to win the People’s Choice Award, which comes with a $1,000 prize, sponsored by AGE-WELL.
